My name is Anas I’m 17 i live in Marrakesh i study in MBN school in the terminal level my favorite subject is biology,I like sports especially basket-ball and I practice it my favorite player is Iverson,i like “street stunt” and martial-art too. I like music too in different style(rap,rock,pop,Rn B….) but my favorite is Gnawa music i like books and films and i like traveling also doing relationship .I like languages i speak french arabic ,english and my teacher is Mr kahlaouy,and i like being active , i like exploring and i want to know more about culture in all over the word …

I think you should definitely talk a little bit about Moroccan holidays. I don’t think Americans know enough about the holidays of other countries. The only Moroccan holidays I’ve heard of are Aid Mobarak and Ramadan.

Bonjour Anas! How have you been? I’ve been terrible in keeping up with writing. But it’s very busy here. A group I’m part of, Gospel Choir, had a performance today so we’ve been rehearsing all week. And I’ve started a new song in my voice lesson, it’s in French and it’s called Adieu by Faure.
Today we had Martin Luther King Day, (the real MLK day was on Monday but we celebrated it in school today) We all went out and did community service around town. It was fun and we had no classes!

Yes, Martin Luther King day is a national holiday to celebrate the life of an American civil rights worker who was assassinated for his beliefs of equality. We usually get school off for that day but I think doing community service is a better way to commemmorate him and his work. I really love all music, I sing mostly classical stuff because our school’s music program is centered around the classics, but I love showtunes, songs from shows on broadway. Just to listen to I like everything, depends what mood I’m in. I love rock and some alternative. Sometimes country, though I get made fun of by my friends for it
